Planner’s School

Planner’s School is a two day interactive training course that includes group exercises, case studies, problem-solving activities and a group presentation. It’s a vibrant community where maintenance and reliability people have important conversations, form lasting relationships and pinpoint new and different ways to get business results.

 

LEVEL 1 (Fundamentals of Work Management)

This course is at introductory level, suitable for planning practitioners who are starting out or for those wanting to brush up on the basics.

LEVEL 2 (Introduction to Asset Management)

This course is for maintenance and reliability professionals who already have experience in a planning role and want to further develop and fine tune their skills

    Peter Durrant

    Programme Manager, Education & Change Management, Covaris
     

    Peter leads the education services of Covaris, delivering both public and in-house courses in maintenance, asset management, reliability and operator-driven reliability. He is also responsible for the change management delivery whereby education and in-house coaching will transform asset management teams. His primary expertise is people development, change management and company transformation.

Bob Platfoot’s career started in the NSW power industry where he gained a BE and PhD in mechanical engineering, then shifted to an academic role specialising in mechanical design and maintenance engineering, and has now led to Covaris, with the belief that great research can only come from the hard work of persistent application of innovation and new thinking in the field. After 15 years work in Covaris, Bob is now establishing new courses asset management, leading technology development such as the Covaris analytics system to forecast all of company asset management improvement, and mentoring a team of primarily young engineers and scientists to grow in the field of asset management, with further innovation and new insights particular for the modern age.
